Fomblin® Functional perfluoropolyethers are characterized by a perfluoropolyether backbone and functional endgroups. They can react with conventional polymeric material with the aim to impart to them the specific properties of the perfluoropolyether chain. They can be active ingredients of stable water-based microemulsions commonly used for surface treatment to convey to the surface release properties.
Microemulsions: Fomblin® FE grades based on functional PFPE microemulsions represent a very effective, environmentally safe yet economical way of conveying the exceptional properties of liquid fluoropolymers to surfaces.
Building block: Fomblin® derivates are particularly refined functional grades for high end applications which require high fluorine content and high difunctionality.
