Fomblin® perfluoropolyether lubricants, oils, greases, and emulsions are engineered for applications where heat, chemicals, solvents, corrosion, toxicity, flammability, compatibility, and service life present lubrication problems. While Fomblin® lubricants can be used in their original form, they are often formulated into greases for specific applications in the chemical, electronic, military, nuclear, data processing, and other industries in need of high performance lubrication.
Oils: Fomblin® Y LVAC and Y HVAC grades are ideal for use in vacuum pumps as sealing and working fluids especially in those systems exposed to aggressive gases. Fomblin® Y HVAC combines narrow molecular weight range and controlled viscosity with an extremely low vapor pressure. Thus, they provide superior performance in high vacuum applications.
Fomblin® specialty lubricant grades are designed for oxygen handling and lubrication of oxygen pumps and liquid compressors.
For all other lubrication needs, Solexis offers a broad family of oils with unique features.
Greases: Chemically inert Fomblin® lubrication greases are recommended for applications requiring resistance to corrosive or oxidizing substances. Solexis also offers a line of excellent base oils for high temperature and high performance greases. Under extreme conditions of oxygen and humidity, it also supplies a family of patented PFPE-soluble, anti-rust additives which enhance Fomblin's performance.
