Tecnoflon peroxide curable fluoroelastomers are based on vinylidenefluoride, hexafluoropropylene, tetrafluoroethylene, and a cure site monomer. These polymers have fluorine content of 67% and 70%. All of the peroxide fluoroelastomers incorporate Solvay Solexis’ new polymerization technology, which gives the polymers excellent hot tear strength and require little/no post curing. They can be used in a variety of applications, such as shaft seals, extrusion profiles, gaskets, and O-rings.
