The properties of Solef® PVDF are well suited to the manufacture of filaments, from those used to produce industrial filtration cartridges to fishing line and from sewing threads to multifilaments.
Algoflon® PTFE has outstanding chemical inertness in aggressive environments, thermal resistance, electrical properties, and non-stick characteristics in a wide range of temperatures from cryogenic temperatures to 260°C. This makes Algoflon PTFE the ideal material for many critical applications. In particular, Algoflon granulars can be molded and skived to very low thickness to obtain filaments for the chemical industry. Algoflon DF powders can be used to produce both expanded PTFE or PTFE fibers for the manufacture of filtration media with unique release properties combined with very high chemical and thermal resistance.
