The properties of Solef® PVDF are well suited to the manufacture of filaments, from those used to produce industrial filtration cartridges to fishing line and from sewing threads to multifilaments.
Algoflon® PTFE has outstanding chemical inertness in aggressive environments, thermal resistance, electrical properties, and non-stick characteristics in a wide range of temperatures from cryogenic temperatures to 260°C. This makes Algoflon® PTFE the ideal material for many critical applications. In particular, Algoflon® granulars can be molded and skived to very low thickness to obtain filaments for the chemical industry. Algoflon® DF powders can be used to produce both expanded PTFE or PTFE fibers for the manufacture of filtration media with unique release properties combined with very high chemical and thermal resistance.
