Tecnoflon® fluoroelastomers offer resistance to the most aggressive fuel mixtures while providing excellent barrier properties for the lowest permeation. Tecnoflon® grades have been designed to cover a broad operating temperature range: -40°C to +250°C. Applications include o-rings, fuel line quick-connect seals, fuel sender unit seals, fuel hose connectors, and fuel cap seals.
Solef® PVDF’s qualities of impermeability and chemical resistance recommend its use in automotive fuel transport systems.
Algoflon® PTFE has outstanding chemical inertness in aggressive environments, thermal resistance, electrical properties, and non-stick characteristics in a wide range of temperatures from cryogenic to 260°C. This makes Algoflon® PTFE the ideal material for many critical applications. In particular, Algoflon® DF powders are currently used for the production of pipe and tubing by paste extrusion for fuel transport in automotive systems with exceptional performance.
